Unless you are just dying to pay for a premium plugin and still have to create page and post templates and code a complete style sheet, move on. I have tried 5 membership plugins and finally threw this one in the trash. It’s utterly ridiculous for this guy to charge for something that is so ugly out of the box.

I really enjoyed using MemberPress to setup a membership area on a WordPress website I was working on. The interface of this plugin is built using the native WordPress UI so it really looks and feels like a part of the core WordPress software, rather than an added on set of features.
The latest version of MemberPress now includes a reminders features which is really handy. It can send out email reminders to the site admin users and members based on a range of triggers. These triggers include events like new member registrations, before and after subscription expirations, and on credit card expiry.
These automated email reminders are really powerful as they can help you retain your members as you can remind them that their subscription or payment method is about to expire. You can also use these triggers to send out welcome messages to new members, helping them to settle into your website.
MemberPress has a lot more features that make it one of the best membership plugins for WordPress. The fact it ships with support for a range of payment gateways, integration with the top email newsletter management services, and the ability to create multiple membership levels and packages, means that whatever type of membership website you are building, MemberPress should have you covered.
MemberPress is a vast plugin with a solid array of features. At $99 it’s a little more expensive than a regular WordPress plugin, but considering its revenue generating potential, it’s well worth investing in if your site has the quality content people are willing to pay for.
