I am a long time user of vfb pro and use it for most of my form needs. It is very easy to use.

I had nothing but problems with the pro version. The support was not very helpful and didn’t resolve anything and when I requested a refund then denied it to me.
What ever you do, DO NOT buy the pro version.

Visual Form Builder is the plugin I’ve moved to for all my contact form needs after starting out with Contact Form 7.
While Contact Form 7 is great for a basic contact form, if you want to start adding a few more field types or slightly more advanced features to your forms, it’s well worth making the switch to Visual Form Builder.
The interface for building the forms is much nicer and creating a new form and adding fields to it is very straightforward. You don’t have to worry about adding any code or formatting to ensure the form and its fields all look OK when it’s published.
You can also add some pretty advanced form fields, complete with auto-validation. This all helps to ensure you get the information you need from your visitors, making your forms much more useful.
I started using Visual Form Builder to add a freelance quote form to my portfolio. The plugin made it easy to add some more advanced fields and most importantly, it made it easy to add an anti-spam field to stop my form being abused by spammers. It’s done a great job so far and the anti-spam field isn’t too complicated so that it puts off real human visitors who are interested in sending me a message. Since then it’s become my ‘go to’ contact form plugin for any new site I setup.
While you can definitely get more advanced form plugins, this one should be enough for anyone who needs more than what Contact Form 7 offers, without sacrificing any of the ease of use factor. So far I’ve had no reason to regret switching to this plugin.
