  1. It is one of the best plugins that helps you to put you on the first page of Google. I am very satisfied with so simple way of using this plugin and also it actually work this SEO very good.

Helping us with lights (grey, orange and green) creates affective key word that works very well in Google. Just following the steps and trying to get the green light is everything that you need to do. That also help us that we do not forget to add keyword also on image which can sometimes happen.

In one month we manage to come on the third site of the Google and within 2 months we are now on the first page of Google. We are also watching Google Analytics every day and noticing how people just with entering keyword can find us more and more often which also Google reward us being on the first site on Google.

I love this plugin and recommend it to everyone.

  2. As a beginner WordPress user, I have been very impressed with WordPress SEO by Yoast. I chose it because it is so highly rated, and it’s free. My experience with it so far has been great. It is easy to use, and if you need help setting it up, a quick Google search yields tons of free resources. They also have a guide on Yoast.com that is regularly updated and looks helpful.

One of the first features I used was the option to enable Facebook Open Graph meta tags. After a super simple set up, my Facebook posts look a lot nicer, with good images and meta descriptions.

On each post page there is an SEO Yoast section at the bottom for customizing SEO options for that particular post. It’s great because if you’re not sure what it means, there is a little question mark next to each option which you can click on for an explanation, and many of them have a link to more information if you need more help. Under general settings you see a Snippet Preview. You then have the option to choose a focus keyword and write the meta description.

After you complete these areas, you can click on the next tab, which is a page analysis. It’s neat how it analyzes your post on 12 different factors related to SEO. The page analysis is presented in a list that is easy to read and understand. Each sentence briefly explains what is good or not good related to a given SEO factor, and each is preceded by a color-coded circle. Green means it’s good, and it goes from there to orange, yellow, and down to red, which is the worst. Not only does it indicate how good or bad it is, it includes suggestions for how to improve the SEO. That way you can go back and tweak things until you get all green circles. Using this plugin has been a great way for me to start learning more about SEO.

  3. I admit it, I use to be a big All in One SEO Pack fan… but after using Yoast SEO for a couple years now I will never go back. The developer is great and always proactive on Github fixing issues when they do arise. I truly do believe this plugin has helped tremendously with organic growth on a lot of my sites.

The main thing I rely on this plugin for is the ability to quickly write good title tags and meta descriptions. I also use it to no-index a lot of pages if they are maybe duplicate content or syndicated content. I also no-index all of my Google AdWords landing pages. Yoast has a built in sitemap feature and it by default leaves out no-index pages from the sitemap which is great.

This plugin isn’t perfect and there definitely have been bugs. Even right now I am waiting for a bug fix. You can see it here: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/issue-with-transient-in-wp-4-and-wp-seo-163 There was an issue with the transient caching on larger sites in which the sitemaps just stopped updating. That is a pretty big problem as a sitemap is crucial for getting Google to crawl your content as fast as possible. However the developers were already on it and a fix in Github was already in the works. They have never not fixed a problem or bug.

I also like how easy it is to setup verification for GWT, BWT, Yandex, Pinterest, and Alexa. Each of these sites require a meta tag to verify your account/listing. Yoast SEO has these all in one easy to locate place in the plugin and so when you are working on new sites you can quickly go down the list.

Another great feature of this plugin is that you can easily setup Twitter cards. A lot of people overlook these but they can dramatically increase your CTR.

I was also having issues with images indexing with MaxCDN and fortunately there was documentation on how to use a function to rewrite the path of my images in the sitemap file to point to my CDN subdomain. This got my images indexing again in Google.

Yoast SEO is in my “must have” plugin list and you can’t beat free! I recommend this plugin to all of my clients and will be using it myself for years to come.

  4. I have been using Yoast’s SEO plugin for many years and am very satisfied with it. The plugin is regularly updated and never caused any issues while doing its job well.

What I like most is the gameification in the post editor via the SEO score the plugin gives your post and the red/green dots that motivate you to improve certain aspects of your post you would otherwise maybe ignore or not even notice.

The free version is all most people will ever need. The paid addons do provide premium support, which might be necessary for some, and can add several niche features like better SEO for video or local businesses.
