WPscoopHi there and welcome to WPscoop a newly launched social news website dedicated to all things wordpress. We have recenlty went public so any bugs you find please report them to us, we have still to switch some of our features live over the next week like Groups and our forums so patience is the key :)

WPscoop (Then a Nameless Dev server project) had been placed on the backburner after originally being based on the pligg system, after some testing on our development setup we quickly realised that pligg would not provide us with the security, support, reliability or features we think are required to build a successful community based project. WPscoop is now powered by the number one award winning CMS system drupal, it’s feature set, expandabilty and scalability were crucial when deciding which CMS to choose for our project.

At the current time not all our feature set is live you can however submit, comment, and vote upon content including videos, Tools that make the process of submission easier are located at our tools page so check them out. You can also add friends to your profile, private message users and import your contacts from various web services. Features planned to go live in the next few weels will include Groups, Comunity Forums, and more social networking and connection related features.

We have many more features planned for the future along with some cosmetic improvments to the site, any questions you may have feel free to Contact myself or Lee.

It’s very late so i will keep this post short and we will post a more formal article detailing our mission statment, full feature set breakdown and team behind WPscoop soon.
:)

I love the idea and I think many blog engage members would too! I would suggest maybe a link exchange in the footer of our websites!

Let me know what you think!

Best of luck wpscoop lives forever!
