Today I spent some time working on the layout of our member profiles and adding some new options to them like being able to add links to your social profiles like twitter, facebook, delicious etc. This task has been something i wanted to do for a while now since our redesign but never had the time due to work commitments. Over the next few days and weeks i will continue to improve and style the profile layouts when time allows.

Back in August we made a post detailing some of the direction and features that we wanted to add to the WPscoop website. One of those features was a WPscoop External Stories Widget Wordpress Plugin, today we are pleased to announce that plugins release to the wordpress community. The Wpscoop Top Stories Widget will display popular stories from any of the WPscoop categories in your wordpress sidebar, you can also customize all the elements of the widget to match your own sites colour scheme.

Today we are pleased to announce a fantastic new feature here at WPscoop where you can now integrate your WPscoop submissions into twitter account directly from you WPscoop Member profile page.

Hi all not been that active here on the blog latley due to work commitments, i did manage however to add support to WPscoop today for Vimeo videos to be submitted and integrated into the site.

Making it easy to submit content to WPscoop is a process we feel should be a simple affair and be carried out with as few actions as possible. With this in mind we have recently updated our Browser Bookmark Submission Tool to insert the URL, Title and a Selected description of the content you are submitting automatically into the WPscoop Submit form. Today we spent some time configuring all the RSS feeds on WPscoop to utilize the feedburner system, WPscoop has RSS feeds available for each individual category making it easier than ever to quickly check submissions and movers. You can a subscribe to individual RSS feeds from the right of the category menu.
